A unique Audi A5 Coupe car

The Audi A5 has been produced by the German car maker since 2007; it is available as a coupe, a 5 door fastback and a cabriolet. The A5 was Audi’s return to the compact executive market since the days of the second hand Audi 80 Coupe. The A5 range came about as a result of Audi deciding to spin off the A4 range with a cabriolet, along with a new coupĂ© and five-door hatchback, into a nameplate of its own.

In 2009 Audi unveiled the S5, which comes with a 4.2 litre V8 engine that produces 349 bhp. Then in 2010 Audi released the RS5 which comes with a retuned version of the 4.2 litre V8, this time with 444 bhp! Both the A5 and RS5 come in coupe and cabriolet forms. For people after better fuel efficiency there is the 2.0 TDI engine with 141 bhp. The smallest petrol engine is a 1.8 litre TFSI with 158 bhp, there is also a 2.0 litre and a 3.0 litre to choose from.
The A5 comes with the option of a manual or automatic transmission as well as front wheel or all wheel drive set ups. With its low slung body and wide track, the A5 offers plenty of grip, which results in thrilling drives around country roads.

This month, Audi enthusiast Afzal Kahn has launched a special Project Kahn designed A5 coupe. The new styling kit includes front and rear vented bumpers with the Audi R8 look. The bumper inserts come complete with mesh inserts. In addition there is a rear spoiler and stainless steel sports quad exhaust system. Finishing the exterior look are 21 inch RSX matt black lightweight wheels.
